About This Project

Creating a series called “Alone” focusing on solitary trees found in various settings such as farmers’ fields, parking lots, or even backyard spaces is a powerful concept. It highlights the stark contrast between the natural world and human development, and the impact it has on our environment.

The idea of these trees standing alone as witnesses to the destruction of their surroundings is poignant. It speaks to the larger issue of deforestation and habitat loss, as well as the resilience of nature in the face of human activity.

By capturing these solitary trees in different locations, I am drawing attention to the beauty and significance of each individual tree, while also inviting viewers to reflect on the broader environmental issues at hand.

Through my photography, I have the opportunity to evoke a sense of nostalgia, melancholy, or even hope as these trees stand as silent witnesses to the changing landscape around them. It’s a powerful statement that encourages viewers to contemplate their relationship with nature and the impact of their actions on the world around them.
